Your tasks

• Oversee IT project portfolio management and establish governance structures

• Prioritize projects in coordination with the CIO and business stakeholders (e. g. OKRs)

• Provide transparency across the entire IT project portfolio, including status tracking

• Coordinate resource allocation across projects (internal and external)

• Manage risks and interdependencies across the portfolio

• Monitor and control IT project budgets and financial planning

• Support and coach project managers in applying methodologies and best practices

• Implement project reviews, quality gates, and lessons learned processes

• Maintain and optimize central project management tools and dashboards

• Consolidate reporting for the CIO, executive board, and steering committees

• Act as an escalation point and communication interface between stakeholders

• Promote transparency and informed decision-making across all initiatives

• Support IT transformation initiatives and the adoption of agile or hybrid models

• Drive change management activities within strategic IT projects

• Continuously evolve the PMO to serve as a key enabler for strategic execution

Must have competences

• Extensive experience in IT project portfolio management, including establishing and overseeing governance structures

• Proven ability to prioritize IT projects in coordination with the CIO and other business stakeholders, utilizing frameworks like OKRs

• Expertise in providing transparency across the entire IT project portfolio, including status tracking and consolidated reporting for the CIO, executive board, and steering committees

• Demonstrated skill in coordinating internal and external resource allocation across projects

• Proficiency in managing risks and interdependencies within a large-scale IT portfolio

• Strong capabilities in monitoring and controlling IT project budgets and financial planning

• Experience in supporting and coaching project managers on project methodologies and best practices, including implementing project reviews, quality gates, and lessons learned processes

• Adept at maintaining and optimizing central project management tools and dashboards

• Ability to act as a key escalation point and communication interface for all project stakeholders

• Proven track record in promoting transparency and informed decision-making across all initiatives

• Experience supporting IT transformation initiatives and fostering the adoption of agile or hybrid project models

• Strong leadership in driving change management activities within strategic IT projects

• Strategic vision and experience in continuously evolving the PMO to serve as a key enabler for strategic execution
