In addition to physical material innovation, we are also developing digital tools and scientific software that support more efficient, data-driven R&D processes. As part of this effort, we are looking for a working student to help bring our backend logic and simulations to life through user-ready interfaces, smart automation, and integrated data workflows.

Tasks

Your Role

• Develop and maintain front-end components for internal tools and our commercial simulation software platform.
• Support integration of backend Python logic (e.g., molecular dynamics workflows) into intuitive web-based interfaces.
• Organize and connect data across systems including Excel, SharePoint, SQL databases, and Power BI.
• Assist in automating workflows using Python scripts or low-code tools such as Microsoft Power Automate.
• Support technical troubleshooting and help implement lightweight IT and digital solutions for the team.

Requirements

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a technical degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics); ideally at the Master's level.

• Hands-on experience with:

• Python scripting and working with APIs.

• Frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; React is a plus).

• Structured data systems such as Excel, SharePoint, or SQL.

• Understanding of basic UI/UX principles and responsive design.

• Familiarity with Git or version control workflows.

• Bonus: experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or interest in AI/API integration.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
