Project description:

To support our team at our customer in the field of radio and communication technology, we are looking for an IT systems engineer for Linux and virtualization for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks:

• Customization of software platforms based on Ubuntu
• Automated installation for software solutions on physical and virtualized servers
• Implementation, expansion and maintenance of scripts for the administration and configuration of IT hardware
• Design, implementation and customization of system monitoring
• Close exchange with other functional units at the site (development, production, customer service)
• Supporting maintenance work on customer systems at international locations

Skills:

• Completed technical studies, preferably computer science, electrical engineering or comparable vocational training
• Several years of professional experience in the setup and administration of Linux-based IT systems, preferably Ubuntu
• Good knowledge of virtualization and containerization
• Good knowledge of at least one scripting language, e.g. Bash, Powershell, Python
• Practical experience in configuration management and CI/CD
• Independent, analytical and goal-oriented way of working as well as very good communication skills
• Fluency in English another plus is:
• Good knowledge of the following tools: Proxmox, VMware, Ansible, Docker, Casper
• Knowledge in the field of communication and radio technology
• Good knowledge of German
